Colour is not decoration in the M market. It is a measurable component of value, and the premium is larger than most sellers assume.
The reliable performers
Estoril Blue, Techno Violet, Dakar Yellow, Phoenix Yellow, Laguna Seca Blue, Imola Red and Isle of Man Green all command consistent premiums over silver, black and white equivalents.
The size of the gap
Across comparable examples, a desirable factory colour adds roughly eight to fifteen percent. Individual-order colours on modern cars can go further, particularly when paired with a matching interior.
The counterargument
Silver and black cars are easier to sell quickly and cheaper to repair. If you plan to drive the car hard and keep it, the colour premium is money you never get back until you sell.
