BMW F96 X6 M — 2020–present

The F96 X6 M shares its entire mechanical package with the F95 X5 M: the latest S63, the eight-speed automatic, M xDrive with an active rear differential and active roll stabilisation.

The difference is packaging. The sloping roofline costs rear headroom and cargo space, and the styling is even more assertive than the X5 M's, which is the entire point of the model.

Dynamically the two are effectively identical, so the choice is a matter of taste and practicality rather than driving experience.
